Let's talk about the event

Client:  Ronald McDonald House, The Fiona Wood Foundation, Anglicare WA & Kids’ Camps
Location:   Central Park Tower, Perth
Raised:   $514,430
Year:   2016

The Central Park Plunge, now in its second year, provided the opportunity for 300 participants to abseil 220 metres from the roof of the Perth’s tallest building, Central Park, on St George’s Terrace. The event was held between Friday September 2 and Sunday September 4, 2016. Participants raised funds for one of 4 selected event Charities for the event including:

  1. Ronald McDonald House – 125 descents
  2. The Fiona Wood Foundation – 75 descents
  3. Anglicare WA – 50 descents
  4. Kids’ Camps – 50 descents

The Central Park Plunge aimed to raise $350,000 for the 4 Charities. In 2015, the inaugural Plunge raised $485,000.  The 2016 Central Park Plunge raised $514,430 for our 4 Perth Charity Partners – The Fiona Wood Foundation, Kids Camps WA, Ronald MacDonald House and Anglicare WA.  This amount passed the 2015 total and brings our fundraising total across Australia to $4.6m+

There were 4 descent ropes making teams of 4 participants ideal to “take the plunge”.  This event sold out so be quick to get in next year and bring your friends, family, colleagues from work.  We look forward to your support again next year.
